The end of 2007 brings some changes to the staff of the East Grinstead Veterinary Hospital.
We say goodbye to four old friends, and welcome four new faces in their place;
Victoria Snelgrove VN DipAVN[medical], our head nurse, leaves us after 6 years. She is moving west to live and work nearer her fiancé. Victoria ran the nursing team through significant change when the practice attained its RCVS Hospital accreditation. We wish her all the best in her new job and upcoming marriage.
Natasha Edes VN leaves to move nearer to her family. Tash joined us two years ago and has been a highly valued member of the nursing team.
Jay VanLemputten, a long-standing receptionist, leaves us after ten years to spend more time with her horses. We hope to still see Jay, as she continues to live locally.
Will Gartrell BVSc MRCVS, one of the vets, leaves after 2½ years in the veterinary team. Will is moving back to Australia with his young family to work in a small animal hospital near Melbourne. Will has promised to pop in when he comes back to the UK visiting family.
We will miss those leaving, and wish them all the very best of luck!
Emma Manuel, our former weekend kennel assistant, has begun her formal veterinary nurse training, and has joined us as a trainee veterinary nurse.
Clare Barton has also joined the team as a trainee veterinary nurse.
The practice is a registered training practice, and we hope to help the girls in their endeavour to become registered veterinary nurses.
Ben Lord BVSC MRCVS joins the team of vets, after graduating from Liverpool University on 2007.
Debbie Fillery joins the team of receptionists, providing another smiley face to the front of house.
Belated congratulations to Charlotte Marshall VN, who graduated from nursing college in the summer. Charlotte is now a registered veterinary nurse!
Kelly Harrington VN takes on the mantle of Head Nurse, with Amanda Tramontin VN as Deputy Head Nurse. |
